Set Up Your WebTV Scrapbook

In order to have a scrapbook, you need to accept the license agreement and create a web page. Just a "test" page will do.

Follow these steps to create a web page.
(If you have already created a web page in the past, you already have WebTV Scrapbook capability, and these steps are not necessary.)

These instructions are basic and simple, and are designed only to help set up the Scrapbook function. If you are ready to begin building a website in earnest, click here!

Here are the simple, scrapbook instructions:

1. Go to your Web Home screen (the one you see when you log on to WebTV.) At the bottom, left-hand corner, click on the word More

2. A popup box will appear. Click on Page Builder. You will see an introduction page. Click on Continue.

3. You should now see the license agreement. Click on I accept.

4. Choose a page style.

5. Click onto Add an item.

6. Click on Text and type anything into the larger, bottom text box.

7. Click on Done.

8. Click on Publish (on the left sidebar.)

9. Click on Continue.

10. Click on Publish.

11. Click on Done.

That's it! You've done it! You should see the word Scrapbook on the left sidebar whenever you receive an email with an image attachment, such as jpg or gif.. You may now either keep your newly-created test page or you can delete it, if you wish.

To delete the test page:

1. Click on Index.

2. Click onto your published page.

3. Click on Discard page

4, Click Discard again.

(Discarding your "test" page does not hinder your ability to use the newly-created Scrapbook feature. And there's really no reason to remove your test page, except to cut down on "clutter." Later, you will create more important pages, I'm sure!
